Day 1: Gallipoli Battlefields Tour (Lunch Included)
Begin your journey with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul and travel comfortably to the Gallipoli Peninsula, one of Turkey’s most significant historical landmarks. Upon arrival in Eceabat, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before starting your guided Gallipoli Tour.
Explore the legendary battlefields where one of the most important campaigns of World War I took place. Visit Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, and the famous ANZAC Cove, where Australian and New Zealand troops first landed in 1915. Continue to Arıburnu Cemetery and the ANZAC Commemorative Site, important memorials dedicated to the soldiers who fought during the campaign.
The tour also includes a visit to the Respect to Mehmetçik Statue, honoring the bravery and sacrifice of Turkish soldiers, followed by the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, one of the most visited sites on the peninsula.
Discover the preserved trenches and tunnels at Johnston’s Jolly, offering insight into the conditions faced by both Turkish and Allied forces during the conflict. Day 2: Troy Ancient City Tour (Breakfast & Lunch Included)
Following breakfast and check-out, your guide will meet you and depart for the legendary Ancient City of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous archaeological destinations in the world.
Discover the myth and history of the city that inspired Homer’s Iliad. Visit the symbolic Trojan Horse, ancient sacrificial altars, and the impressive city walls dating back over 3,700 years. Explore the remains of Troy I to Troy IX, including the Bouleuterion (Senate Building) and the Odeon (Concert Hall).
After the tour, take the ferry back to Eceabat and continue your journey towards Istanbul by road.
Depart from Çanakkale in the afternoon and arrive in Istanbul in the evening. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
