Day 1: Ephesus Ancient City & House of Virgin Mary Tour (Lunch Included)

Your journey begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Istanbul to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, meet your professional guide and start exploring one of Turkey’s most remarkable historical destinations.

The first stop of the day is the House of the Virgin Mary, a peaceful pilgrimage site believed to be the final residence of Mary, mother of Jesus. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Koressos, this sacred location welcomes visitors from around the world seeking both spiritual significance and historical insight.

Continue to the world-famous Ancient City of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved classical cities in the Mediterranean. Once a thriving center of trade, culture, and religion during the Roman period, Ephesus offers an extraordinary glimpse into life in antiquity.

Walk along the marble streets and discover iconic landmarks including the magnificent Library of Celsus, the impressive Great Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Trajan Fountain, Odeon, and other remarkable monuments that have survived for centuries.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although only a few remnants remain today, the site continues to be an important symbol of the city’s glorious past.

Day 2: Priene, Miletus & Didyma Archaeological Tour (Breakfast-Lunch included)

Following breakfast and check-out, your guide will meet you for a fascinating full-day journey through three of the most important archaeological sites of ancient Ionia.

Your first destination is Priene, a beautifully preserved Hellenistic city set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Mycale. Explore its well-planned streets, ancient theatre, city walls, and the impressive Temple of Athena, which reflects the city’s importance during the reign of Alexander the Great.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Miletus, once one of the most influential port cities of the ancient world. Renowned for its philosophers, scientists, and traders, Miletus played a significant role in the development of science, philosophy, and urban planning. Discover the city’s impressive ruins and learn about its rich cultural heritage.

The final stop of the day is Didyma, home to the magnificent Temple of Apollo, one of antiquity’s most important oracle centers. Admire the colossal columns and remarkable architectural details of this sacred sanctuary, which attracted pilgrims from across the ancient Mediterranean world.
